“It was night when arrived to Jelov Klanac. While we were driving along a dark path, I couldn’t even imagine what was expecting us, different scenarios were passing through my mind. And suddenly - a light and a little house like from a fairy-tale emerged in front of us. I thought I had been dreaming. But it turned out not to be a dream after all. There, in front of us, was a gorgeous wooden house with a small porch, bathing in light and two merry dogs, which ran towards us to offer us a welcome. Insecure, we looked around and finally knocked at the door and bravely stepped inside. The travertine marble fireplace warmed our souls and hearts, bringing back long forgotten memories and creating a picture of idyllic past and our tradition. The furniture made of wood and entire interior, including the wall paintings, melted perfectly into a genuine feeling of beauty and harmony. But it was only in the morning when we were encountered with a real surprise: the surrounding estate, view out of the suite onto the horses and untamed nature, while having your breakfast in the suite.... That was a holiday to remember, a holiday in which you may sense the entire strength and beauty of nature and grow aware of yourself, your roots and your past and the credit for that did not go to a magician’s wand, but to wisdom, power of will and persistence of the people, who realized the beauty, they were surrounded with.”
